So, when you kiting in light wind or off shore wind conditions some time the kite will move over your head at the edge of the wind window after that it drops toward the back side of you that’s exactly back stalling. This is very immensely annoying when you get it.

How do we handle during backstalling?
The first don’t panic. you need to push the bar out untill you see the kite caught the wind and fly again then just pull the bar in enough and hold the kite at 12.
After that just control the kite to the direction as your desire.
How to prevent backstalling?
- Don’t kiting if light wind and without bigger kite
- If you go with light wind condition then setup the kite with fully trimming power line. It mean two steering lines will be longer powerlines much more.
