Board start is a very hard section in kitesurfing learning. You will know clearly about it when you get your feet into the board the first time.
In this article I will show you some tips that help your progression easier a little bit.

Let’s go now!
If you start from your right side to your left side first then just hold the kite by your right hand at 11h45′ don’t hold the kite at 12h. why? at 11h45′ position if the kite pull you then it will pull you to the left side of you the same side that you will go for. so with this if you get any problem then you have more time to handle. If the kite at 12h position then the kite will tend to go the right side.
Keep in your mind that you need to pull the bar in gently while you hold the kite at 11h45, this help the kite firmly position if you don’t do this then the kite will tend to loose and change direction quickly.
When you put your feet into the footraps then you need to put your right first in this case.
If some how you be spin to your right side it mean in this time your body position is no suitable to standup then you need to take your left hand off the bar and paddle to your left side. You need to make sure the wind always come from your back (the wind directly from your back or your back facing directly with the wind)
After your preparing done it mean you are ready to steering the kite to sand up on board, in this case if the kite still at 11’45” the you need to move the kite to 12′ before your steering the kite to creating the power to stand up.
